Downed by lightning and severe winds in 2006, this magnificent white oak was rescued when the owners asked Ken to salvage it by creating a table for their Manhattan apartment. The table’s design is a collaborative effort between artist and client. After more than 2 years of drying, the table was crafted and delivered, along with a coffee table, serving boards and a timeline photo album of the table building process. This four hundred year old tree, in all its incarnations, is a treasured family heirloom.
