The building housing the South Egremont Post Office was sold to Lance Vermeulen Real Estate in 2000. When the post office moved to it’s new location, the space was gutted and renovated. Old white pine boards appeared to be headed for the landfill until Ken salvaged them for benches and wall racks. These boards, dating back to the early eighteenth century are now part of the twenty-first.
